Applicant must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. BSN, current ACLS, BLS and TNCC required. ENPC, CEN preferred, but must be obtained within one year of beginning the position. Previous nursing management experience such as Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse experience required. A minimum of 3- 5 years emergency nursing experience required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to communicate effectively with multi-level staff members and patients. Excellent computer proficiency is required. This position requires strong leadership applied to the daily operation and clinical aspects of the Department, which include patient advocacy, effective leadership of staff, promoting collaboration between physicians, staff, patients and visitors and be goal oriented.
