Director's Statement
I appreciate your interest and welcome you to the Brookhaven Family Medicine Residency Program. This is an exciting and challenging time for healthcare on eastern Long Island. The community we serve continues to grow in number and in age. Our challenge is to provide superior healthcare to more people and the increasing complexity of their problems.
The development of the Family Medicine Residency and the new Family Medicine Center at 100 Hospital Road is Brookhaven's effort to meet that challenge. As a new program, we have the advantage of being able to implement medical education and patient care technology that is not only at the forefront of today's standards, but that will continue to meet and exceed regulatory requirements for years to come.
The resources available at Brookhaven's Family Medicine Residency are an ideal setting for the prospective resident seeking advanced educational and clinical technology in a diverse and challenging patient population.
I encourage you to continue exploring our site to gain more information and insight into our program.
