Find Out How You Can Help
Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center is a 321-bed acute-care, voluntary not-for-profit community hospital located in East Patchogue, New York. We opened our doors to the community in 1956. Our Medical Center is comprised of the main campus, two community multi-disciplinary health centers, and a modern state-of-the-art facility located in downtown Patchogue accommodating our expanded Hemodialysis Program, Home Health and Hospice/Bereavement Services, as well as an off-site ambulatory Women's Imaging Center.

Established in 1956, the Medical Center has grown over the years to serve the needs of twenty-eight communities throughout central Suffolk County. Positioning Brookhaven Hospital as the provider of choice within our region remains a long-term goal of our board of directors.

Always responsive to the needs of the people we serve, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital was the first in the county to establish a Certified Home Health Care Department, a Hospice and an outpatient Hemodialysis unit. We will soon celebrate a 30-year partnership with Suffolk County, through the provision of two Community Health Center's located in Patchogue and Shirley.

As a community based hospital, Brookhaven affords quality health care for all sectors of the population and is a provider under Medicare, Medicaid, most managed care organizations, private pay, as well as indigent care. Quality medical care continues to be the focus of the Medical Center's enduring patient-centered approach to healthcare in the exploration of new and innovative programs.
