Our nursing professionals provide care in an impressive array of practice specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, trauma, and emergency care, intensive care units, education and research, behavioral and mental health, maternity, pediatrics, administration and more.
Brookhaven's nursing practice is enhanced through the use of delivery of care models that include team district nursing on medical/surgical units, primary district nursing in the intensive care units, mother/baby model in maternity and an interdisciplinary treatment team model in Psychcare. Nursing at Brookhaven accepts the challenge of change in order to meet the diverse medical, social, and rehabilitative needs of our community.
