Habitat for Humanity & Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center
November 8, 2017
Today November 8th, Habitat for Humanity held a Dedication Ceremony for new homeowners, The Ortiz Family. The ceremony took place in Mastic Beach and was an opportunity to thank all that participated in this project. This Dedication Ceremony marks the 184th house Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk has built since 1988, and Brookhaven Memorial Hospital is proud to say, we helped make this happen! Kate Browning, Suffolk County Legislator and Rudy Sunderman Suffolk County Legislator Elect both were on hand to give proclamations to the proud new homeowners. With a crowd of well wishers on hand they received their keys from PSEG representative and then cut the ribbon on their new home! BMHMC was recognized as one of the "Sponsors for a Day" and couldn't be happier to welcome them to the community!
