Do you or your sleep mate have a problem sleeping? We can help.

The Sleep Center at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital is designed to provide comprehensive overnight sleep studies to identify a wide variety of sleeping disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, snoring, restless leg syndrome and insomnia.

There are a reported 40 million Americans who have a chronic sleep disorder. The most common sleep problem is obstructive sleep apnea. Common symptoms of sleep disorders may include loud snoring, difficulty concentrating, paying attention or remembering and excessive daytime sleepiness. If left untreated, this disorder may lead to hypertension, heart disease, weight gain, stroke, poor job performance, an overall decrease in quality of life and increasing accidents at home, work and driving. Proper diagnosis is essential for the proper treatment of  sleep disorders.
