The South Brookhaven Family Health Centers are operated through a contractual relationship between Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center and the Suffolk County Department of Health Services. The health center physicians provide ambulatory care in the fields of family medicine, obstetrics, gynecological, pediatric, and behavioral health care. Area residents, who might otherwise lack access to care, depend upon the comprehensive services provided at both Health Centers.

Mobile Mammography Program

South Brookhaven Family Health Centers also offer a Mobile Mammography Program. This program provides screenings for women throughout Suffolk County. Reimbursement from the Women's Health Partnership (WHP), a New York State funded program, is available for anyone who lacks the ability to pay.
